One writer. Two names.
Jayce Marin writes the fiction. JC Marin writes the nonfiction. Same person, two shelves, split on purpose, so a reader who wants a slow-burn dark romance never has to wade through a RAG pipeline to find one, and a reader who wants the pipeline never has to wade through the romance.
Fiction
Jayce Marin writes dark fantasy romance and cyberpunk science fiction: stories about the bargains people make to survive the ones who are supposed to protect them. Kiss of the Fates retells the myth of Oedipus as an enemies-to-lovers epic neither of its leads sees coming. The Cruelest Binding traces a healer bound to the king slowly killing his own kingdom. The Needle and the Song follows a weapon built to keep a city calm, and what happens when it starts to remember.

JC Marin is an AI infrastructure engineer who builds AI systems in the one kind of environment where “move fast and break things” is not on the menu: high-security enterprise networks where every deployment must answer for where the data goes.
As an AI subject matter expert at a major aerospace and defense company, he architected a multi-agent AI platform for an air-gapped classified network, including large-model serving, request routing, and per-user vector memory, along with the tiered, read-only-first safety strategy required to introduce agentic AI into that environment responsibly.
He also runs an independent AI solutions practice and operates a self-hosted multi-GPU inference environment serving open-weight models with long-context workloads. He is based in Melbourne, Florida. Building AI That Knows Your Data is his first technical book series.
